Allowed Moves in Lucky Cat Blackjack

blackjack mobileLucky Cat Blackjack is a standard variation of the classic game of 21. It uses an eight-deck shoe, each deck containing 52 playing cards. The values of the cards are the same as in a typical blackjack game. Cards from 2 through 9 carry their pip value, 10s and face cards count as 10, and the Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11, depending on how you play your hand.

Players can choose from several chips with denominations that range from 1 to 500. After you have decided on the size of your bet, select Deal to receive your cards. Both you and the dealer receive two cards, and the dealer’s first card is dealt face up. Keep in mind that if the dealer is holding an Ace, they check for blackjack.

There is also the option to take an insurance bet, which costs half of your original stake. Players may split any two cards of the same value, including 10-valued cards of different suits. You can also re-split your cards; however, this does not apply once you split Aces. Players may double on any two-card total, and they may also double after a split.

Blackjack pays 3 to 2, just as most standard blackjack games do. The insurance bet pays 2 to 1 if the dealer has blackjack.

Specific Features of Lucky Cat Blackjack

Bonus imageThe one thing that makes Lucky Cat Blackjack an interesting take on the classic game is its unique Lucky Cat feature. If the player does not have blackjack and does not bust, and the dealer busts with a total of 22, the special feature is triggered.

When the dealer busts with 22, the cards from the shoe fly across the screen and a bonus game launches. A pop-up notifies you that the Lucky Cat feature has been activated, and you must tap anywhere on the screen to start. Once the round begins, four Lucky Cat dice roll. Each die has six sides, with one side featuring a cat paw. If one or more paws appear, you receive a prize determined by the number of paws rolled.

As mentioned earlier, players can also buy insurance when the dealer shows an Ace. This side bet requires an additional wager equal to half of your original bet. If the dealer does not have blackjack, you lose the insurance bet and the hand continues as usual. If the dealer does have blackjack, you receive a payout of 2 to 1.

The developers have ensured that players can tailor the game to their preferences. You can easily turn off the background music or sound effects, and whenever a move is available, the corresponding buttons appear so you can act with a single click.

Our Verdict

If you enjoy playing blackjack but want to try something different, give Lucky Cat Blackjack a spin. Because the game follows standard rules, you will have no trouble getting started. The special Lucky Cat feature that triggers when the dealer busts with 22 adds an extra level of excitement.
